Featuring a curved inner wall for the best coffee profiling, the coffee hits the mug harmonically and minimizes harshness from oxidization. The thick bottom and thin bezel help keep the coffee warm and give it an excellent mouthfeel when drinking. The slanted profile also helps with stacking the mugs for storage. The espresso mugs are well-suited for Italian shots, modern double shots, and cortados. Admittedly, they work great with sakes too ;)
The basic collection comes in 2 clay bodies:
TOAST, a warm beige that connects to the earthy coffee tones (Similar to HEX BDAB89, Pantone 14-119 Winter Wheat); and
CREAM, an earthy off-white with a hint of beige that accentuates the rich coffee palettes. (Similar to Pantone Eggwhite, or HEX FEFBF5)
The clay body is always raw on the outer shell and glossed up on the inside. Occasionally, we offer accent colors that add excitement in texture and/or colors to the mugs.
